This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Karen Pilgrim and Michael Lewis at the Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t hold out for the wedding to take place outdoors but that didn’t stop everybody from having a blast indoors.

This is the Godfather of the bride, checking in on her while she was getting her make-up done. You could tell from the smile on his face that he was excited for her.

We had some beautiful blue skies that day, too bad they didn’t hold out long enough.

As soon as the bride reached the alter it started to rain which sent everybody fleeing for shelter. Rain on your wedding day is good luck right?

This was captured by Nikki, I was taking photos from the other side. You can see my flash going off at the exact same time which gave a nice backlight to the shot.

Eventually, after the ceremony, the rain stopped long enough to grab a couple shots outside.

For those of you who know me, you know I’m not much of a dancer but this guy was really putting me to shame. He was immitating every move that the older guests were doing.
